OI Splash Pad

The Oak Island Splashpad is a water activity, featuring spraying water and water features, located behind Town Hall on SE 46th Street. Park is open seasonally (usually mid-May to early October).

Fort Fisher Aquarium

Kid friendly galleries throughout encourages visitors of all ages to meet and mingle with their aquatic neighbors, from interactive exhibits to “touch tanks” where patrons can have personal encounters with local bamboo sharks. It’s a fun day trip for any visitor who wants to get their feet wet in the unique and varied wildlife habitats located just offshore.

Oak Island Lighthouse

The Oak Island Lighthouse is located in the Town of Caswell Beach near the mouth of the Cape Fear River in Southeastern North Carolina. It sits next to the Oak Island Coast Guard Station on the east end of Oak Island in Brunswick County looking south out at the Atlantic Ocean.

Ocean Crest Pier

 

Anglers from all regions love cruising over to the Ocean Crest Pier, the only pier on Oak Island¬†and one of the best venues for great fishing, tournaments, and taking in the scene. Voted the #1 fishing pier in North Carolina by the Fisherman’s Post, most all anglers walk away from this pier after a full day of fishing with a great catch or two, and an eagerness to come back the next day for more.
